I was talking to someone about how I came up with a situation where a boxer can be in a fight, get knocked down, have the referee count fully to ten over them. Then have the boxer get back up after being knocked down and be
able to go on and win the fight. The scenariou I came up with was its my
understanding if a boxer is knocked down but in the process of being knocked
down they are knocked out of the ring they get a 20 count. So therefore is
possible for a fighter to get a full ten count, get back in the ring and win.
I saw a video claiming this rule was in affect but I have never heard of it used
can someone tell me if I made a scenariou where a person can get back up
from a ten count. , and if so name a situation where it was uised?

Not me, also common practice is the referee will wave of the
fight at four or so if the boxer doesn't move from the KO or
show any signs of getting up.
