Right after his bout w/Cotto, Pacquiao will head to a nightclub to
perform a concert w/his band. He apparently did the same after the
Hatton fight.

Isn't this a bad idea? Given that fighters often suffer concussions
and other injuries wouldn't he better off resting the rest of the
weekend?

Heh. Did Hatton even land leather on PacMan?

What is New Zealands contribution to carbon emisions? Dropping off the Wallabies on the way home.

Since Hatton barely landed and the fight lasted less than six minutes
there was no problem w/ a postfight concert.

What if Cotto goes 12 grueling w/Manny? Would it be a good idea for
Manny to spend 90 minutes afterward sweating and dehydrating under the
stagelights?

I dont know how bad that is - but it does suggest he looks beyond the fights
almost.
Perhaps it is his way of relaxing etc. so who knows - maybe its being given
too big a deal here, and the "90 minute concert" is more like the amateur
band doing an open mic session than some professional rock tour.

But for me its the idea that a fighter isnt focused when they plan to do
other things even on fight night.
Roy Jones doing basketball before fights made me think the
same............only here I dont think Pac man has that much gulf between
himself and his opponent as Jones did.
