I've seen these guys on TV for sure, and they're all GREAT trick shooters.

I must say I was impressed when I saw Tommy Kennedy's exhibition at the recent
Glass City Open in Toledo. I've never seen anybody juggle 15 balls on a field
of green like Tommy. It was simply AMAZING.

I recently had the pleasure of seeing Tom Rossman in Peoria, Il.
Besides being one of the best trick shot artists in the world, he is
one of the most personable friendliest person I've seen.
Unfortunately for the tournament but fortunate for the spectators, the
crowd was very sparse with only 20 or so people watching Tom. This
did not detract one bit from his enthusiam. He performed for over 2
hours interacting with the spectators. After this he called everyone
up to the table. He answered questions, gave tips, chatted with
people for the next two hours and gave everyone the impression that he
thoroughly enjoyed it. His wife had everything packed and ready to go
but Tom wouldn't leave until the last question was answered.

I highly recommend that anyone in the area plan to attend and you are
fortunate to have Tom and the other participants there. I do not want
to detract from the other participants but only to convey my recent
experience with Dr. Cue as he is truley one of the great promoters of
our sport.

He has a little booklet that he sells that will fit in your back
pocket (it will stick out, it's long and narrow). It is full of good
info, especially about the diamond system and kicking and banking.
His tapes on kicking and banking (a series of 3 tapes) are awesome.
He is, as you stated, a great ambassador of the game and very
friendly/approachable.

Bought it from Tom. Good little book at a good price.
Thinking about getting the tapes. Screwed up and didn't put them on
my Santa Claus List. I did put "Hustler Days" on it and Santa came
through. Only problem is I ended up staying up most of the night
reading it as I couldn't put it down. Highly recommend it.

Several years ago, a small group of local players wanted to bring Tom to
Erie primarily for some instruction. Due to the strictly enforced Murphy's
Law in PA, everything fell apart at the last minute. The pool hall decided
it wanted MUCH more money and several of the contributors dropped out.
Since I had a 9' table in my basement, I was approached to see about the
possibility of having the session at my house. As it turned out, there were
only 5 players involved at this point but it turned into the best thing that
could have happened. Tom gave each person some quality time with their
game, then put on a display that kept us in awe for at least 2 hours. He is
every bit the showman you see on TV & he is a witty, personable gentleman to
boot. I often wonder if he even remembers that fiasco. I guarantee that
the players who attended that show will remember it for the rest of their
lives.

Bob...
Do you live in Erie? (It's my hometown)
If so- where do you typically play?
I get back to Erie 1-2 times a year- and wouldn't mind knocking some around.

Ray,
Unfortunately, I don't play much anymore except for league play. Between my
"real" job & working on cues, I don't get out as much as I'd like to. Where
did you live & what time frame are we talking about? Where did you play &
with whom? I wouldn't mind getting together next time you're around. I
still have my Gandy Big G in the basement. Check my website out. There's a
map showing where I live. PS...the pool hall that jacked up prices was Park
Billiards (the old bus station on N. Park Row - now a day care center)
