English Police Warning: Should be proceed instead of proceeded.
But congrats to Alex anyway,
"Not only did the Filipino pool player proceeded to clear out the rack, but
broke and ran the next three to reach the hill and retake the lead for the first
time in the finals match since the first game!"
There, fixed that for ya!

As some of you may know, Alex started his pool career in our local CPA
league and in a few weeks (sorry I can't tell you the exact date)
he'll be visiting Le Spot to do a little trick shot exhibition for us
and he'll be playing exhibition games with some of the league players;
maybe me if I get lucky and draw a spot.
He may be famous but he's a great guy and hasn't forgotten his
Canadian roots.

I'm glad to hear that. I remember seeing him interviewed on TV just
before some 9 ball championship he was playing in and at the end of the
interview, he was asked if he had any last words he wanted to say to the
audience, and Alex looked at the camera and said, "anyone wanna play
some 9 ball"
It was perfect, and you could tell it's something he's said hundreds of
times in his short life. I wouldn't have stood up, but I would have
enjoyed the heck out of watching whomever did.
