A friend of mine owns a custom cue and he was told it's
a Thomas Anderson custom cue, can anyone give more
information on this cuemaker. I couldn't find any info
on Blue Book of Pool Cues. It's a simple cocobolo cue
with dark wrap and checked decorative rings above the
wrap and in the butt sleeve. And it also has a signature
above the wrap that can be read "Thomas Anderson", but
I'm not sure... Any idea of a price ? The hit is quite
nice and definitely better than many production cues...

In todays do it yoursefl world there are hundreds of people who buy a lathe and
call themselves cuemakers (these NG's are full of em). Most of these people
stay local and nobody outside a 20 mile radius ever hears their name. Good luck
finding out info on him. As far as a price it's a custom cue so it has some
value, but my guess would be under $250 on the open (e-bay) market.

All of what Jimbo says maybe true. In Witchita KS there used to be a cuemaker
named Randy Anderson. I bought a cue from him in 1987-88 and it was a great
playing cue. Level of craftsmanship was decent also. Randy was mentored by Verl
Horn.

Yes, I understand that there are countless cuemakers in USA, but I was
just curious and took a shot in the dark in case someone would have
knew something about this cue. This Anderson cue plays alright, but
cannot be compared to top cuemakers' cues. I'm not sure if the cue
is Randy Anderson's, but thanks for the information.
