Best Billiards Books You've Never Heard Of

I'm thinking of compiling a treasure trove of billiards books with
strong content (instructional or entertaining) for a list of rare
books at my site.

I was pleased with the response to my famours and unusual pool movies
list at:

but I'd like to make the book list much more refined, just little gems
that few people have yet read or know about, sort of a "Ten Pool Books
You've Never Heard Of But Should Read", like John Grissom's
<i>Billiards: Hustlers & Heroes, Legends & Lies and the Search for
Higher Truth on the Green Felt</i>, long out of print but a lot of
fun, as when Grissom meets and is defeated by a local room's top
stick, a young unknown killer in The Phillipines--named Efren Reyes.

What are your favorite "oldie goldie" pool books, please?
