Mike Janis often sells these. I'm not sure the best way to contact
him. Here is a start: http://www.vikingcue.com/9balltour/

Just put your email out there and you'll hear from him -- he'll spam
you to death :-)

Hey, Nat (famous Oxford grad >VBG<) -- good to see you back in RSB. Most of
us are still here, but all in "lurk" mode. Once in awhile, a good
discussion takes place. Most of us know, well, who the flamers/trolls are
and have them all in our killfiles -- this way, we usually don't see any of
their posts and don't get drawn into pointless debate with them anymore.

It's amazing how quiet and clean this group can be with just 4 or 5 posters
in the killfiles! The rest of us now focus mainly on what we can
constructively and positively add to queries and discussions and try to
avoid all the personal, off-topic BS ad hominems. The other idiots are now
effectively confined to living ALONE with their own pain!

And, even though the ASP NG can sometimes go months without a post, there
are quite a few of us that also monitor that group on an almost day-to-day
basis.

I'd say it is probably more like one poster with a few aliases at
any one time that mostly just talk to each other. At least I think
that I have only one actual poster in my killfile, although there
are about 190 entries in my killfile (accumulated over the past 8
years or so). Of course, on the internet, you never really know,
right?

Ah....please forgive my sloth in replying. Guess I haven't regained the
habit. For several years I had no access to newsgroups. Just recently got it
going again.

I remember it well when spoiled-kid types made it pretty difficult to chat
reasonably. The way you're doing it now seems pretty good.

Yeah, I'm still a Lucasi nut. Guess that will be the standard unless:

1. PCH comes up the driveway or
2. Someone is loose enough to send me a "quality cue" on trial, or
3. A real shooter happens to be driving East or West on US. 412 and has
time to drop down to Oxford for a few games
with his "Good" cue.

The big problem of the day here in rural AR is trying to find a pool tourney
within reach. there used to be one every Sunday afternoon in Viola, but that
folded up a year ago.

Once again, I say it's GREAT to see you guys here again!
