I have done some investigation regarding this 'organization', and it
seems to me to actually be a sort of cuemaking supply buying co-op.
The catch is, however, the 'membership' fee is way too high to be
justified by any savings offered. The owner (that's right, it's NOT a
voting membership), Jerry Powers makes some pretty grandiose claims
about what cuemakers are 'members', and what the great benefits of
'membership' will be, as well asproclaiming his own super-connected
position in the industry and personal mega-wealth. I haven't been
able to find any supporting evidence of these claims, other than that
he apparently has convinced one plastics supply house to require their
former cuemaking customers to buy through him.
In short, it smells scammy to me...

I met these guys at BCA in orlando and could not make any sense out of what
they were trying to promote,just seemed weird.

RSB. However, I seem to recall someone telling me once that they had a
"Blackburn" cue made by a cuemaker in Kentucky. I have no way to
verify it....sorry.

Billiards) also Tampa,Fl. (I 'think' this is now 20 Florida
cuemakers-"Go West Young Man...." IMO..
Does it cost a cuemaker $$$ to be included in the Blue Book and what
is the deadline for the next edition? (I'm asking for an Tampa cuemaker)
