Well it's been about a month since I got my new Virlux progressive
lenses and I can say it is very frustrating. The more I practice the
better I can shoot with them. My particular problem is long distance
cut shots. I seem to be always hitting the object ball too thin. I set
up a practice shot and missed the object ball 7 times before I hit it.
I kept moving my aim point over and I could have sworn I was going to
hit the ball head on but I actually over cut it.

I'm wondering if I'm tilting my head to the side or something. Has
anyone else had this overcutting problem or other problems when
adjusting to progressive bifocals? Thanks for your comments.
Hopefully I'll find my eyes before Jimbo's big tourney in October.

two points to consider

might it be worth getting one pair just to play pool?

a fellow I knew several years back had problems that were
somewhat similar to those you describe

it turned out his new glasses had a 'correction' for astygmatisim(sp)
he never could adjust to them and went back to wearing his old
glasses for pool - tho he could no longer see the balls as well, at least
he could see where they were

I hope not there will be enough killers there, who needs one more.
