It is described here:

Sometimes they have these amateur-only events alongside the regular
tournament events. In this case, they allow players who are
eliminated on the first day (Saturday) of the regular event to enter
the Sunday amateur-only event. That's a good thing for people who
travel to these tournaments and pay hotel costs anyway. I've never
played in one of the amateur-only events, but I think the rules are
the same (WPA the last I checked) other than the entry restrictions
on the participants.
The Viking tour was originally a set of Ohio area tournaments. Mike
expanded eventually as far west as the St. Louis and Chicago areas
(where I play). In the past few years they seem to have withdrawn
most or all of these western-most events and expanded south toward
Tennessee, Mississippi, and Georgia. That's too bad because these
were well run tournaments with usually good turnouts and with good
players, and I miss them.
