As for the MJ VS Magic, with all the talk of MJ carrying Bulls on his shoulders
Bulls never won a championship. I also do not agree with the idea that bulls
do not have any good players on their team. Stacey King and BJ are first
round picks, Bill cartwright is a good center, scottie pippen can be a
starter on any team. The problem with MJ and Bulls is, he does not have
the ability to make his teammates play inspired or better (Like say, Magic
does) and I think he will go down in the history of BB as a great player
without a championship ring.
Both Chicago and Portland are good teams, but not good enough to compete
against detroit. Pheonix is the only team that can compete against Detroit.
Lakers lost to a good team(A good team and not to one good player).

It seems to me that no other teams that are still alive in the
playoffs could match up well against the Pistons. I was hoping the
Lakers to be the one in the final since I believed that they are the
only team that are capable of beating the Pistons, but since Magic was
not able to handle the pressure, the Lakers got the extended summer
vacation.

Whether a player is a first-round draft choice is not a litmus
test of how good a player is. As for your claim that Pippen can be a
starter in any NBA team, I like to ask you whether you will start him
ahead of James Worthy in the Lakers team? I think not. Bill
Cartridge is a good center, but in my opinion, a liability in the
defensive end for his lack of rebouding ability, and his offensive
prowess is not something to be bragged about either.

I am not suprised if Jordan does not win a ring in his NBA
carrer because a player could not do *everything* by himself. Magic
needs help from his teammates, and when his teammates did not deliver
as in the Phoenix-LA series, the Lakers got killed by a not-so-great
Phoenix team. Magic does make his teammates better, yeah right, just
like Gretzky made Kurri, Messier, and Tikkanen into great players!!!

It may interest you to know that the above mentioned souls are rookies. By
definition a rookie is one who plays in his first year. Thus these
2 players were not there last year or the year before. And since you cannot win
a championship in the middle of the season, Chicago has yet to have a chance to
take a shot at being NBA champions with these 2 in the lineup.

You probably did not follow the Bulls last year, otherwise you may have noticed that
last year Pippen, Paxson and Grant did not play. It was their evil twin brothers on court.
And Chicago did not have Ed Nealy. And Craig Hodges was not as yet 3 point champ. In a
nutshell, last year there was no Chicago Bulls. There was only M Air J.
