They had Jennifer "something" (damn I forgot her last name) on it, and she said
that she played SEC women's b-ball.
She was a tough cookie, though she didn't go all the way ;)
I didn't watch the show, but a visit to the _Fear Factor_ site
yielded a photograph of one Jennifer Barnes who hails from Morrow,
Georgia. Click the link below and tell me if she's the woman you saw:
http://www.nbc.com/Fear_Factor/players.shtml
A Yahoo! search on the name turned up no promising leads, but
perhaps Jennifer's using a different surname than she did as a
collegian. Meanwhile, Sheryl Swoopes competed on a special Olympians
edition of _The Weakest Link_. After advancing to the final round,
Sheryl (who guessed that Robert E. Lee had been the general who
competed in the pentathlon at the 1912 Games in Stockholm*) lost to
Brandi Chastain. The two had strategically voted off Mary Lou Retton,
who was actually the all-around strongest competitor of the evening.
Other contestants were Kerri Strug, Bart Conner, Bruce Jenner, Lenny
Krayzelburg, and Carl Lewis.
* Logically, her response would have been either Dwight D. Eisenhower,
Douglas MacArthur, or the correct name, George Patton. Then again,
I'm sure Sheryl would thrash me on the basketball court even more
resoundingly than I would prove her superior in a battle of trivia
mastery.
Jennifer Barnes. Known as "Jaye" Barnes (remember how the host kept calling
her "Jaye" during the competition?) when she was a JUCO transfer at Kentucky
during '97 and '98 seasons. I think she might've even been SEC Player of
the Week a couple of times...
So how have you guys been doing? :)

We've been losing members fast! Stop by more often!
Hi Mike, I left for a while, too. It waw good to come back even though there
were so few left.
Good to see you and I hope you accomplished much during your interlude:)

Did you see this morning's Atlanta Journal-Constitution that said Andy Landers
delivered his post-game comments between clinched teeth?
:)
I know he's in TOTAL misery this season (notwithstanding the high ranking), but
don't you know SEC rivals would rather not play Georgia for the next three
years?!?!?
Greg.
