Bulls and Stacey King

again, a report from the chicago tribune and sam smith, bulls beat writer:

the article talks about how stacey king has become quite a nuisance in the
locker room. the article begins with a joke..

did you hear stacey king may retire next year??? he has nothing left to
disprove!!

king has become quite a bust. now, he is becoming annoying in the locker
room and losing favor with the players, coachs, and management. he recently
got into a fight with bj armstrong (bj says he wasn't hustling enough,
but stacey always hustles. :) ), he has said some anonymous quotes in the
paper saying horace grant is dogging it (which is untrue, as if king
should talk), and is not getting along with anyone. since, the emergence
of bill wennington, king has become expendable. the bulls want to keep
him around, then release him to get his $2 million salary cap slot, but
with scott williams and perdue expected back, someone has to go.
wennington is cheaper and playing MUCH better than king ever did. in short,
since king is becoming a cancer....release him and bite the bullet.

jordan is quoted as saying that david falk (his agent and king's agent)
is a genius as an agent. why, people ask, because of your endorsements???
"no, he got king a six-year contract!"

it is sad that HE has 3 rings....

I read that he actually punched BJ in the face. Is that how it was
reported there?

Yup. And we all wish he would have broken his hand doing so. We'll trade

Sorry, we have no storage room left at the Garden. But how about this.

YEs, King has been almost a total bust for a sixth draft choice, but he is
playing his best this year. I am surprised at how well he is rebounding this
year, and last nite, he did an outstanding job on Ewing. All in all, tho, I
would like to see Bulls ge
t rid of him, even if only to free up salary cap money.

Actually, as a long-timer King disser, was impressed with him
last night against knicks, had a couple of nifty moves and
two jumpers from way out. Maybe he's just a late bloomer!

I was particularly distressed that _all_ the Bulls busts came out to
play last night. King went 5-7 in 17 mins and really did damage off the
bench.
