It was great to see such a uniform team in the NBA where most of the teams
depend on one main player. In yesterday's game me and my friend tried
to figure out who was the major factor for CAVS in their win over Bulls
and we had to come up with 7 of them as they all seem to have contributed
equally.
Gerald Wilkens will be a major factor fro CAVS in the Playoffs. What with
the 3-pt ers he is shooting these days?

Poor cavs fans, I feel sorry for you. As a knicks fan, you can't believe
the level of confidence I felt against you guys the last couple of times
we played, when I saw Gerald on the opposite side. I knew we couldn't lose.
The cavs will never beat the Bulls (although I hope you do, and at least
hope you'll give them a hard time) in the playoffs. Gerald will get alot
of time versus Michael (because he unfairly has a reputation for doing
a good job defensively on him, and he has the physical tools of size and
speed). Then, with the most crucial game of the series on the line, cavs
have the ball, time is running out, pass it to gerald, he's dribbling,
his bugged out eyes are roaming in that manic and confused manner, Michael
steps up to him, basically says "gimme the ball", just takes it, and
slam dunks to give the bulls the victory. I GUARANTEE IT.

Are you serious? Gerald is making 3pters?!?!?!?!? TAKING them, I would
understand - he used to do it all the time in NY, even though he never hit
them. What is up with that?

will contribute significantly offensively, you better get ready to say

I assume you mean youre looking forward to the early 2000's after Jordan
has retired.
I dont know how World Champions with the 2nd best record in the
league, more wins than your Cavs, can be overrated. Especially since
everyones been talking about how 'poorly' they're playing.

>I dont know how World Champions with the 2nd best record in the

I'm sure you meant to post this about a month ago. Those world Champs
are 3rd, yes 3rd, yes 3rd, and will be that way through the playoffs.
Yes, 3rd.
"yes, and it counts ..."
I think the only problem the CAVS have in the Playoffs is beating
the NETS. I don't know why they always struggle with so much.
Nets lost 9 of their last 10 games yet CAVS had problem beating them
and they needed a Buzzer beater from Danny Ferry. If they could win
their first round with NETS they can go ahead and win the Championship
as Nance should be fine for the rest of the Playoffs.
I have a strong feeling that IF Bulls could get to the Semis than
that's going to be the easiest Playoff series for the CAVS. Then,
they will have to fight it with the Knicks and they whoever comes
from the West will just give it up to the CAVS as CAVS will be
shooting at their best in the Finals and rebounding too.
If Cavs loose early I assume they didn't play their best as I'll
still say they are the Best team around.

Well, hell, who DOESNT have trouble with teams that win 50+ games
a season. The Bulls have an excellent record against playoff oppnents
by the way. Probably better than the Cavs (since it was better than
NY's, I assume it was better than the Cavs).

If this is the only team to give the Cavs trouble in the playoffs, its
because they got knocked out by them.

Youre smoking somehting.

How convienent. No matter whther they win or lose, you'll still
find a way to justify calling them the best, even though they won
8 fewer games than the Suns, 3 fewer than the Bulls, and 6 fewer
than NY.
-Dan
Obviously, you have forgotten "the Shot"! Let me remind you.
During the regular season preceeding "the Shot", the Cavs swept
the Bulls. During the playoffs however, it was "the Shot" that
was a silver dagger through the heart of the Cleveland
Cadaverliers. It might take until the year 2000 for Cleveland
to recover. Don't make the same mistake again. Give up now.
Don't underestimate the desire and talent of MJ in the playoffs.
Dude chill. Cavs have been through more problem that why we couldn't
win the 8 or fewer games you keep comparing them to... Now that they
are healthy wacth out.. as for Suns Cleveland beat them like the red
headed stepchild they are! Bulls ,BullSh*t to me, maybe cleveland won't
make it but they are good and don't depend on one all time star. We had
three in the all-star game! How many did you have? If more or eqaul
then you have a more solid team....
As before one person was upset I didn't mention Danny Ferry. The reason is
Ron Harper is doing good and I don't think I can say Danny is living to
his expectation yet. He's young give him time maybe we Will have another
Bill Lam.(detriot) I hate spelling bec I cant sorry. Anyway Cavs have not
won a champion yet. They may be more motivated to win it all for the home
crowd. If not they need to get some more help fast. BTW Cleveland Cavs
where not in the draft last year so we have only one new tallent!~

Third Best!

Actually Chi has the fifth best record against playoff teams. One team better than
Cle and four teams behind NY. (If Chicago had beated Charlotte and NY they would have
had a better record --- as it is they ended up 2.5 games behind)

I hope the Cavs get by the Bulls cuz then the Knicks would have an easy
Eastern Finals :)
Go Knicks,
ah
Any informed fan would know that Cleveland beat Phoenix in the mistake by the
lake without Charles Barkley (suspended for chasing the referee)...
When Cleveland won in Phoenix, the Suns played one of their 3 worst games of the
year (wide open shots and shot around 40%) and Cleveland barely won...
Bring it on, Cleveland, in the finals (if you can make it that far!!!)
Then we will see who the red headed step child is... the Suns or the Cadavers.

Hmmm ... Thre all-stars ... and the Nets had none. That means that
before the all-star break, the Cavs were the clearly better team. Yup.
I'd take a healthy Coleman, Petro, and Anderson, thank you.

I doubt it was so easily forgotten considering its been played to
death on NBA game openers.
I KNOW the fans havent forgotten it the way they boo MJ every
time he touches the ball. (Which I think is pretty foul. I can
understand people booing Bill Lambeer at every oipportunity, because
he's a dick, but MJ has a 'nice guy' repuatation, and theyre booing
just becuz he's performed well against theyre team. Cmon, everyone
in this league is trying to win, dont boo him just becuz he's better.)

I guess you mean regualr season series. Cavs havent won a playoff series
against us since 'the shot.' (And didnt win that series either obviously).

Ah, more drivel about how MJ is the entire team. Yes, of course he
is the entire team, thats why he's gotten the championship ring
the last 9 years, not the last 2. It has nothing to do with the
development of Grant or Pippen.
