The All-Star Team of EC93 was (as voted by the journalists that attended
the games in Germany):
Guards Jordi Villacampa (Spain)
Sergei Bazarevic (Russia)
Forwards Fanis Christodoulou (Greece)
Dino Radja (Croatia)
Center Christian Welp (Germany)
The qualification groups for the next European Championships (Athens '95)
are as follows:
Group 1: Croatia, Belgium, Sweden, Slovakia
Group 2: Estonia, Latvia, Slovenia, Lithuania
Group 3: Russia, Bosnia, Ukraine, Finland
Group 4: Spain, Turkey, Israel, Czechia
Group 5: France, Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary
(there was a pre-qualification tournament in order to determine the 20
participants of the qualification round).
Games for the qualification round will be played on 10, 13, 17 November 1993
as well as 9, 12, 16 November 1994.
Top two teams from each group + Germany (champions) + Greece (hosts)
will participate in the Finals (which returned to the 12-team format).
