Believe it or not, the only game I ever saw at Allen Fieldhouse was back
in the mid 80's and Kansas played Memphis who was like #3 at the time.
Kansas was down a little that year but still managed to pull out a win
thanks to Ron Kellogg goin' off for 30+. I think it was the last year
before the 3 point line or he might have had 40+. I believe they played
one other time before they met in the championship game. If Memphis had
hit the 3 at the end of the title game the score would have exactly
matched the score from the game I saw. Kansas 75, Memphis 72.
