I am curious to known if there are any professional sports teams whose
games are regularly broadcast on an FM station. The only one I am
aware of is WYSP in Philadelphia who carries the Eagles' games.

If you respond to me I will summarize for the list.

WIP is the REAL home of the Eagles. Merril Reese and the Birds on
FM radio...what a joke.

I don't know what kind of radio you have, but I can get WIP as far
South as Ocean City MD (at least 2.5- 3hours from Philadelphia)

I live in Newark DE (1 hour South) and get 610 as clear as if it
were down the street. Sure, it might not be WOGL (which I can get
as far South as Richmond VA) but it is a pretty strong signal.
Just my $.02

I can pick up WIP right at the Susquehanna bridge on I-95 in
Maryland (Rising Sun MD) from then on, it just gets stroger. Thats a
good 60 miles away and in the daytime, thats a good distance for AM.

Robert, what's wrong with Classic Rock? WYSP is my favorite FM
station up there. I think having the Eagles just seals the deal on
one of the better stations in the country. Of course...WMMR is
probably #1 in Philadelphia. BUT it would be better if they had a
Jazz station with Eagles games....

Question:

What does WIP do now they don't have Eagles games? Do they have
Cataldi and friends at some bar and grill as the game is going on?
"Aw man Cunningham threw the ball in the stands, Braman is going to
have a fit for losing $50."
