Dodgers Manager Joe Torre had too much confidence in his pitcher, Chad
Billingsley, and left him in too long as the Phillies pounded out a
four-run second inning.
Torre didn't remove Billingsley until he watched him give up his
second hit to pitcher Brett Myers, a two-run third inning single.
And, Billingsley later blamed the catcher for pitch selection.
Classy.
