The Rose Award goes to Mark Teixeira of the New York Yankees, who went
three-for-six with six RBI and scored three runs in a 15-9 win over
the Boston Red Sox.
Nick Swisher hit a grand slam and a two-run double and Teixeira hit
two home runs. New York trailed 9-0, but scored seven runs each in
the seventh and eighth innings.
