I have a Hoyt Gold Medalist and use it normally for FITA tournaments.
As arrow rest I have a Spigarelli magnetic rest with a button. I also
want to shoot barebow with the GM but with barebows buttons are not
allowed (At least not in Germany).
My dealer has a lot of arrow rest that also work without button but
they will all be fixed with glue so i cannot easliy change the two
rest for FITA and barebow.
Does anyone know a rest that can be easily mounted or dismounted from
the GM and is not in need for a button?

I don´t know a rest that is easy to chance all the time. But instead you
could get yourself one more GM riser. They are very cheap, especially for
used ones, and then there would be no problems or inconsistences when you
change between shooting fitastyle and barebow. You just move the limbs to
the other riser, and have a string for each one. You will also have the
possibility to increase the poundage at the barebow for a flatter
arrowflight - without destroying your trim for the fita.

Hope you like my ideas

I am not familiar with the National rules for your German Federation. I
do know, however, that FITA equipmemt rules permit pressure buttons in
barebow field archery: In the USA these rules also apply to those
competing in Indoor and Outdoor Target Archery Diciplines. The rule is
copied below.
9.3.3.3
An arrowrest, which can be adjustable, a moveable pressure
button, pressure
point or arrow plate on the bow provided they are not
electric or electronic and do
not offer any additional aid in aiming.

I personally do not recommend taking an arrow rest off between
competitions. Some bow cases require this for storage but the less you
can dismantle the better. The barebow archers I coach use a variety of
rests but the most popular is the Hoyt Super Rest. A variety of
thicknesses of foam double-sided tapes available can allow the archer to
adjust the centershot. The built in pressure button on the rests are
fairly consistent in button pressure and the rest can be changed
quickly.
The Cavalier Freeflyte comes with a built-in pressure plate but it is
difficult to use on those bows which feature sight windows not cut past
center very much. I believe there is sufficient room on the GM but I am
not sure. The NAP Plunger Rest incorporates a built in plunger and
flipper rest but may not be legal (for your Federation).
In some instances I have used a flipper rest, like the Cavalier, in
conjuction with a broken Hoyt Super Rest. After the arrow support part
of the HSR broke I left it on and mounted the Cavalier . It didn't look
very pretty but it helped maintain the consistent button pressure I
valued on my setup.
I would recheck with your Federation rules. FITA Barebow archery is
very popular in Europe and I am puzzled why they would restrict it more
than the published rules of FITA.

This is the first time I here that cushion plungers are not allowed in
Germany for Bare Bow division.
Are you really mentioning FITA bare bow division ? FITA rules do ALLOW
buttons in Bare Bow division...

You are absolutely right!
The first time i aksed about buttons and barebows i was told that they
are not allowed but in between i known that this information is wrong
and buttons are allowed.
