Does anyone know anything about Pearson bows? are they any good? I'm looking
to buy a new bow and while looking around I came across a Pearson 440 ONE,
looks good, price is affordable.....

I like them and they sold very well in my shop. Main reason they are
affordable and perform very well. I don't know the 440 ONE Sorry.

Friend of mine has a 440 and he has excellent results with it. Shoots great,
fast, and quite. He recently dropped it when his release slipped and bent
the cam severly. He returned it to Pearson where they changed the cam, both
limb pockets, string and harness. Total cost $40 for the string and
installation.

How do they compare to bows like Browning, or Martin, I've been looking them
over as well. I hate having to deside :)

I shoot a Mathews MQ1 which is a little quiter, about the same speed, cost a
lot more. I think it will hang right in there with Browning, Martin, PSE or
any of the rest.

Morb: If you like the bow and the price, go ahead and buy it. Of course,
if you get a chance to try it out, that's even better. The different makes
will feel different when you shoot them and that can make a lot of
difference when it's finally time to pull out the check book. For instance,
I love the way Hoyts feel, but I can't shoot a PSE to save my butt. I've
shot most makes, (Owning a Pro-Shop does help). Some feel good, some feel
"clumsy ". BOHICA!!! John Cryar jwc...@primenet.com
