Can someone set me straight on tiller please? In order for me to get even
tiller I have to turn one limb bolt out about a round & a half more than the
other. Does this mean my limbs are not close on deflection? I can't find
deflection numbers on either limb. I'm talking about a 41" axle to axle PSE
compound with synergy pro 75 cams. I have been told that tiller should be
even as long as the limb deflection is close. Is that right? What if you
don't know what the limb deflection is? Should I use even tiller as long as
it groups good? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Tiller simply adjusts the angle your bow hits your hand. If you shoot
extremee low wrist add a bit of tiller. High wrist you don't need any.
Medium wrist go by your feel. If you need more info, drop Terry Ragsdale
a note at PSE and find out.

I have been shooting PSE bows for over 20 years, and have set the tiller
anywhere from 1/8 in to even and have never seen much difference. I now just
set them even and paper tune them and forget it. You can make them shoot
ether way. I know they match every set of limbs at the factory , and I don't
think 1 1/2 turns would be at all out of line for even tiller.I can tell you
PSE is one of the best bow company's. They build very high quality bows and
do not bad mouth the competition unlike some of the others. I will never
shoot anything else . :) Al

easy either way. I just didn't wan't to hurt the bow.

To find the deflection you need to take the limbs off the bow and look at
the butt end. there should be a number there. the first 2 are the
deflection. i.e. 41456. 41 is the deflection.

generally numbers in the 30's are 60lbs and numbers in the 40's are 70's..
of course this also depends on the wheel and riser deflection.

It sounds like you are shooting a Mojave.
