merit 210: bad opennings

Hi,

This week-end, i tried a merit 210. It had first a nice opening,
but the right end was tangled with the brake lines... Never did
3 turns so fast (didn't say F... no beer)! It was the 6th time
in the week that this canopy had autorotation at the opening,
with 4 diferent jumpers and 4 different packers (they trash-
packed it carefully).
I packed it again like a beginner that i am (i.e. roll packing)
and got a nice openning. In the past, i had a few jumps with this
canopy, always roll packed it and never got any problem.
It is new (about 100 jps), and a carefull inspection revealed
nothing. Is it possible that trash-packing is the reason of the
problem? If yes why? (should I follow nipleboy's advices for
packing? :-))
