Yes, and they meet every weekend at Skydive the Point in West Point, VA.
C'mon out!

Okay, just kidding. Tech had a club when I was there, but I was too poor to
join. You should probably contact the student organizations group at
school. If that doesn't work, call the local dz's and ask them

Last fall they had printed fresh VT club shirts and were giving them out to

Nope, I believe they jump at Adrenaline Airsports/Skydive Blue Ridge at Smith
Mt Lake. This beautiful DZ is home to DZO Billy Cockrell, the 2nd most handsome
AFF instructor in the Galaxy

They did I few years ago- last time I donated money to VT I stipulated it go
to the skydiving club. They probably used the money for beer.

I never had the cash to jump when I was a student. Probably because I used
it for beer, too.

I think the President's name was Dave something, and at the time they were
also jumping at a DZ in NC. They have a website that you can find through
www.vt.edu, but it hasn't changed in years so it may be dead.

Good luck, go hokies.

Thanks for all of your help everyone.

I managed to find their website via vt.edu.
http://filebox.vt.edu/org/skydiving/

I don't know if the club is still active or not but apparently the
contact is someone named Billy at Adrenaline Air Sports.

Yes, Virginia Tech does have a skydiving club...we've had one forever,
and have switched DZ's a few times over the course of the last 20
years but now we jump at Adrenaline Air Sports at the Smith Mountain
Lake Airport (known for good times w/ spaghetti)...home of the
infamous DZO "Rocketman."

All our active members seemed to graduate at roughly the same time
leaving pretty much nothing; but we're rebuilding now and are comin
right along under the leadership of a damn fine president....me --
WOOLLY. we have about 10 licensed, or pretty close to licensed, VT
student jumpers in the club and a handfull of whuffos b/c they are
girls and they look good. seriously though, any VT student can be a
part of the club, so if ur interested in skydiving or the club or
botch email me (my email address is below)

if you're a tech student and a skydiver; then we need to chat...i have
all this beer over here at my place and im not quite sure i can drink
it by myself; and we're havin a par tay tomorrow night here at my
place. since shitty weather has closed AAS for the weekend, i figure
we might as well get shitfaced since there's no reason to wake up
early on sat. email me at sky...@vt.edu

our website (http://filebox.vt.edu/org/skydiving/) is extemely
outdated and im working to gettin it updated. i dont know shit about
webpage design, so if anyone out there in the area has some contacts,
let me know. check out Adrenaline's website at www.air-sports.com
though, its just been updated w/ some dag-on fine pictures in the
photo gallery...girls, check out the bearded, bald guy with the black
/ white / gray / silver jumpsuit....dead sexy, aint he?

ok, that's all i got right now. yall take care. BLUE SKIES!

STL,

WOOLLY!

PS. P.K., thanks for tellin me a/b this! SHOCKER baby!
