>any old regulars from the now defunct ripcord paracenter in nj here?
was that the one near Flemmington?? or am I thinking of Tri-State??
I was a 63-68 Lakewood type meself.
THOM
HELLO! Yes it was Tri-State that was in Flemmington, Ripcord was near
Mt. Holly. I first jumped there in Nov 1962 (will be 40 years ago in
less than a week) and last jumped there in 1974. Was married there
(at 3500 ft) pre-jump. I was Chief Instructor there for several years
"D-977". My bosses were Steve Snyder and later Elek Puskas. Who is
asking and what do you want to know? I will be eagerly awaiting your
reply.
p.s. The name above "Tony Vinci" is not my real name but an anti-spam
newsgroup name.
and Thom --- it's Burlington County Airport now called South Jersey Regional
(Exit 4 on the turnpike).

I jumped with him in summer of 67 after I got back from Nam. He used
to jump from the door of the Norseman to the strut followed by another
dude and when he saw us go he'd drop off to catch us.
I didn't realize that he was killed in that motorcycle accident at
Pope Valley though!!! I thought he was just hurt. I have him on my
website at
http://projectpi.skydiveworld.com/pipeople.htm
Since NJ was once the hottest place in America to jump at one time its
hard to keep up on all the DZ's there in the 60's.
THOM
if you've ever jumped at any of the Parachutes incorporated DZ's and
would like to be mentioned on the Project PI website please send me
your history. toml...@melbpc.org.au

I've been living in Australia for the last 14 years and haven't been
back to Jersey since 80 so its hard to keep up.

Watch out! They perform circumcisions on the men who pass out in a drunken
state after they strip on stage.
>There's one in Kentucky, but I forget the name. And you Bruce?
every bar i never set foot in.
was that pete wilson who posted earlier?
The big jumpers pub at Orange MASS was THE INN at ORANGE, I'm trying
to remember the one near the Lakewood DZ and the biggest and most
famous of the jumpers bars was (1960's) the Rumbleseat in LA!

Could have been a Moyle!
