Wesley Snipes Jumping???

I know Berringer & Baldwin learned to jump for their roles in "Cutaway", but
does anyone know anything about Snipes doing any jumping for "Drop Zone"?

Heh, I don't know the answer, but this question reminds me of the
movie "Point Break" where the 5 guys free-falling are talking. Always
thought that was pretty funny...

Wesley Snipes jumped at least once in preparation for his role in "Drop
Zone". There was an MTV Special on Drop Zone which, among other things,
featured Wesley's first AFF jump. Guy Manos was in the special and part of
the jump. I am not sure how far he actually went into the progression.

Umatilla. He even bought brand new gear but then never got into it after the

What's even funnier is that the first skydive they made was an end of the
season "Speed Star". It took them 4 minutes to make the star, and then they
held on for another minute before breaking off. Then, @ 1000 ft, they
argued about who who going to pull first for about 30 seconds. Hmmm, that
reminds me. We had a first jumper @ the DZ a few weeks ago who was pissed
off because he was only going to get 45 sec FF, apposed to the 10 minutes
that he thought he'd get. Oh well...

Yeah, I was pretty pissed when I only got ~50 seconds or so on AFF I.
They made me wait until later for the 10 minute freefalls......
