Hi all! Just got back from Les Menuires in The 3 Valleys, had an
awesome time. Anyway, I've had my trusty Airwalk boots for 7 years and
feel it's time to upgrade. From what I can see, a general, all-
mountain, all-purpose boot seems stiffer these days (correct?) which I
think will help me, as long as I get one that's nice and comfortable.

I like the look of these Vans and K2 ones with the metal wiring
instead of traditional laces. Can anyone recommend a specific model
with this feature by these or any other brand?

I'm more blazing about the mountain rather than in the park and I ride
a Signal OG 155.

Cheers!

doesn't look like anyone replied yet.. Ive only two days
out in them but I like the feel of my new Ride Jackson boas.
My 5yr old northwaves finally had to be retired (about 250
days or so on them!) and I went with these. While the
incredibly easy in/out is certainly attractive (especially
in the cold winters in vt), they also fit the best of
the boots I tried on and are fairly low profile.

cheers
