I just picked up a used Burton Rippey with new Freestyle bindings. The board
is in great shape, with only a few small nicks on the topsheet. Its plain white
on top, with a rocketship, and a lady sitting on the moon on the bottom sheet.
Is this a good board?

Thanks

Tom

I have that same stick, and it frigin rules. It's a great all around
responsive board that tears through the powder. I'm going on my third season
in Colorado with it, and have every intention of picking up a new model next
year. You will be very happy with it. -If your not let me know and I'd
consider buying it off you.

I almost bought Rippey '56 last year but decided to go with Custom '56 whose
specs are very close. I hear it's a great board.

I rode one of the Rippey "Rocket" boards for a season and loved it (I never
should have sold it!)
The board is SUPER in the halfpipe (my favorite yet) and it can be fun in
powder, only thing is...it is VERY stiff! I weigh 160lbs and sometimes had
trouble flexing it into hard carves (of course, its not a board with a lot
of edge...so its not a serious carver anyway)
But this board is a blast!

as long as you've got the muscle to make this board work...It may be the
best board you ever ride. (did I mention that I never should have sold
mine!)
;)
PEACE!
Geoff
