First American Wax Maker? (In recent times anyway?)

Anyone know if America has ever had a meaningful wax maker? At any rate, it
seems like that in this hi-tech day and age that expensive, foreign, big company
products are the only things that's available regarding wax. Not that nonUS is bad,
it's just that I'd prefer to support an Ami.

I posted earlier about Dan Meyer's new step into the market.

Sorry if it sounded too much like an infomercial. Basically, it was just the facts as I
know them. And it's true that I am excited about this info.

I've already received comment that there were glitches in Dan's early wax
development. But because he now declares he's ready to go public, I presume that
unevenness has been taken care of.
