Hi All,

A little while ago, someone mentioned using a carbide (I think) grinding
wheel for sharping ski pole tips for roller skiing. I'm can't seem to fine
any.

What did you buy and where? (As it appears I'll be on the dry pavement for
a while)

Thanks in advance,
Snowless in Montana (John)

I got mine at www.planetxc.com

Also, Google groups is a great resource in finding old usenet
postings.

Depends if you want a portable stand with the wheel (Finn Sisu) or just
the wheel itself to install on a grinder. For the latter, there are a
lot of sources. I got a message today about a 6"x3/4" 80 grit Silicon
Carbide bench wheel for $19.99 + shipping from www.toolsforless.com.
Decent table grinders are pretty cheap these days.
