I have a small list.
One is to --- stay off of Usenet? Think I can do it?
What are your new year's resolutions?
not to resolute
can't say it. Your name's there though. Feel privileged.
Continue the light exercise program I started just over a week ago.
Try to save some money and have an emergency fund, although that will
be very difficult.
Lose enough weight to fit into 34" jeans again.
Can't think of anything else right now.

no and no
yes to end my life in the new year
Bring it on, my little pill popping, drug addicted, alcohol swilling
hootenanny. I await your 2010 epic fails. Here's hoping they will
bring as many belly laughs as your fails of the previous decade. What
a funny, short, fat, premature graying, balding little dicky-doo man
you are :D
I resolve to:
- read more books, and waste less time reading trivialities on thy
internet.
- refuse to hide so much, to get out and explore the sad, lovely,
dessicated near-ruins that are to be my new locale.
- find a fuckfriend with poor eyesight and a lengthy penis.
- not get robbed. (Must purchase mace, must purchase large sharp
knife, must 'Master Tae Kwon Fu in 30 Days, the Tony Robbins Way!')
- not feel so bad knowing that I'll likely never do anything on the
list -- which is quite pathetic in it's scope as it is -- other than
get drunk and feel inferior and shitty.
lol.. I still dream of being able to fit into jeans with 28" of waist
estate, like I could just 3-4yrs back. I swear my hip bones have
conspired to make a fool of me over these last few years, and have
blossomed in girth just to spite me. Conniving skeletal ne'er-do-
wells, always plotting agin me.
Somehow the positivity this started out with dithered out towards the
end. lol.. I feel good: fuck all y'all!
> What are your new year's resolutions?
My provisional list:
1) Ask a girl out.
2) Lose some weight.
3) Start learning german or french on my own.
4) Fight against my perennial laziness and excessive concern about
what others think of me.
5) Use my free time in more productive ways.
6) Get out of the house more often.
7) Get enough sleep, not staying too late on the internet.
8) Break My habit of procastination.
9) Get out of my confort zone more often, talking to people I don´t
know and other things I don´t feel very confident about.
And the essential one:
10) Have enough willpower to carry out my resolutions and not forget
about this list a week after the year has started.
Lots of work ahead...
What's your reason for having gained weight? Mine is moving from a
place that was a 20-minute walk away from the bus stop and a 25-minute
walk from the grocery store. I realize now that those weren't
inconveniences but incentives to be more physically active.
I wouldn't care about the 34" waist size except that I've got two
nearly new pairs of jeans that are 34" waist, and I haven't been able
to fit into them for two years now.
