I seem to recall an Inline article from a a year or so ago that did it and
found a lot of places to go.
The last time i went there was pre-skating days (convention-time) and it
_was_ wall-to-wall asphalt. Should be good. I would be concerned about
redneck quotient and taxi's. . .
best of luck & give us a report!

Vegas is flat and spread out, so it's a place where it's easy to skate
and you can see a lot more of the town than by walking. If you stay
off the strip and the street that runs back to the convention center,
traffic isn't that bad...
notes:
Vegas Taxi drivers think it's a crime to be doing anything other than
waiting at taxi stands or riding cabs... Not hostile but don't get
in their way.
Try to avoid the strip - I don't know if there are any rules, but
there's a lot of stop and go traffic and cars pulling over or zipping
in and out of driveway. Vegas lacks any sense of humor when it comes
to making money or unions...
I think there are some nice trails or scenic spots in the foothills or
other places nearby, but don't recall the details. Check in your
hotel guide or call the vistors or convention bureau for "excercise"
or "running" possibilities.
