Why bother? We can either post them via tinypic.com and then post the
link here, or we can put them on a googlepages site... Google makes it
easy enough that *any* idiot should be able to do it... Hell, my 11 yr
old daughter is even able to handle it...
> Do you post pictures just like regular e-mails?
Yes, just add an attachment or paste it into the body if you are posting via
html.
> Why bother?
<chop>
Because it has scuba in the name, and it takes only a couple mouse clicks,
and because we can kick the nuts off the spammers.
What is your problem?
If it is a text newsgroup, many ISPs will automatically strip binary
postings to the newsgroup... The binary postings will not be archived,
thus after a certain point determined by each different news server,
the older ones will disappear... If it is worth posting, it is worth
keeping it around for a prolonged time...
> What is your problem?
I'm a grumpy old man... What's your excuse? <grin>
According to
http://www.faqs.org/usenet/news.announce.newgroups/Bogus_Usenet_Groups/19981026,
this group is classified as 'bogus' and should be replaced with
rec.scuba.equipment... Basically, it's an orphaned name that should be
deleted...
Not all news servers carry it... Google Groups doesn't... Neither does
the RoadRunner news servers...
Ooops, I didn't realize that I was using a window in which my daughter had
previously logged in working on her web page... The previous reply was by
me, not her...
What color are her panties??
But can she teach us???

how old, how pretty and if legal, what colour? :P
11... Not legal (nor survival oriented), so the rest really doesn't
matter, does it?
yah, Ill wait 5 yrs if she's gonna come over here... or 7 if I go ova
there :P
Getting tired of sheep? Figure you'll try something a bit riskier?
Well, I'm a Texan, so it'll definitely be riskier for ya'...
Of course a couple cases of Toohey's might put me in a better mood...
only a couple? cheap at the price :P
as for sheep, You've got us mixed up with the Aussies across the
tasman sea. We eat sheep, and do a mean mutton roast, while they eat
the sheep out :D
Is it better to do the sheep after you've cooked it than before?

Oh.
My.
God...
:-)
Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. Perhaps I should have prefaced that
with a keyboard warning?
You in to necrophilia? :D
the slant of that question is a bit kinky :P or is it just my dirty
mind :D
Were you thinking of Mary?
only if ewe really care
You're the one who says he does mutton roasts. You tell me.
For a classical (expiring) newsgroup, if its on-topic to scuba, you
should be able to use:
alt.binaries.images.underwater
Just be aware that Google doesn't archive most (all?) of the binaries
groups, so you'll need a regular news server account.
