Please excuse my intrusion, but could anyone direct me to an online
source of photographs/images of scuba diving which shows the experience
from the _divers_ point of view ie not just a "pretty pictur" but
examples which best represent to you the world see underthe water.

Thank you.

Ken

Try http://diver.net/ for two large collections of high resolution underwater images of California Scuba Diving.
For high resolution above water pictures try the following links:
http://CaliforniaDiveBoats.com/Peace/ for collections of photos taken on the Peace (http://PeaceBoat.com/) dive boat.
http://CaliforniaDiveBoats.com/GreatEscape/ for collections of photos taken on the Great Escape (http://DiveBoat.com/) dive boat.
http://CaliforniaDiveBoats.com/Conception/ for a collection of photos taken on the Conception (http://TruthAquatics.com/conception.htm) dive boat.

There are 871 pictures on my web site, I try to have a variety of
pictures and not just pretty portraits of fish. There are also
several videos there that might also show what you're looking for.

The URL is:

Check out alt.binaries.images.underwater for some pix. It's a moderated group
so you'll mostly get just the u/w pix. Many from this group post their pix
there as well.
