any good reefs around Anegada?

I saw a post on a travel site about the (once beautiful) reefs around
Anegada being bleached and barren. As I'm planning to go there (I'm a
snorkeler - sorry) next March, can anyone tell me whether it's really
that bleak? Is there anything to be seen at all? Any hints on the best
spots?
