Kind of shitty. The union work pays well in BC, but it takes forever
and a day to get in. If they lift the moratorium on offshore drilling
(now a distinct possibility) then there could be lots of rig work off
the coast for quite a few years. Remember you need 'unrestricted
surface supplied' or 'HSE part one' to work here. US schools (the
exception now is DIT) don't cut it as they don't meet international
standards.
There is much more work on the east coast, but the pay is shite.

You obviously haven't met any commercial divers. Now run along. I
wouldn't want you to miss your NAMBLA meeting because you've been too
busy humiliating yourself here. I'll bet those little childrens' hands
around your cock make it seem so much bigger than it really is.

The Gulf of Mexico and oilfields worldwide.

The schools don't rely directly on the commercial diving
industry. Of course, when times are good it is easier to
sell courses. But there are lots of mommies out there that
will pay for little Johnny to go to an expensive school.

BTW, if someone needs a job in the field, let me know. You can go through
school at Young Memorial in Morgan City for a few hundred dollars in 6 months.
Next class starts August 20.
