For those of you asking about the whereabouts of Steve Kramer, you
need look no further than the recent archives of his usual haunts
(soc.culture.thai, rec.scuba & rec.food.cooking)

Questions still remain over his current occupation since the
Photography business fell through (see
http://www.photoenvisions.com/Advert.htm)

Some reports state he was deported from Thailand. Others point to his
new career as a document courier.. but that seems a little far fetched
for the Chiang Mai Snapper.

The Pan Asian Bistro and Cookery book are likely where Steve Kramer is
now plying his trade although we may never know why he got deported
from Thailand.

Thank goodness for those VA disablity payments eh Steve?

posted. His posts were timely and on topic, unlike this one. Somewhere out
of the gloom comes a Ron Thomas who speaks and we should suddenly believe
everything he says versus our experience with Steve. Go back under your

Hi Virginia,

I must say I did not expect this type of reaction from so many people
regarding my comments about the chilli crab dish. I am unaware as to
what all the apparent commotion is about and any other issues relating
to the guy in question. I am not surprised at the emergence of various
troublemakers though, as in my experience I have found that when
certain individuals feel some type of jealousy/envy towards another
member, the knives do not take long to appear.

It would seem though, judging by the significant groundswell of
support for this Kramer guy over the past day or 2, that he is indeed
very well respected (at least here on rec.food) and if he is the same
guy who has taken the wonderful photographs that one can find through
an online search, I am not at all surprised he is held in such high
esteem.
