OT: Looking for a spring on the Suwanee

Hi all- I'm looking for a site on the Suwanee where I camped once,
about... 1988. The site had a boat ramp at the end of a long dirt road,
and sat about 15 feet above the river. About 75-100 ft. from the
campsite was a gully formed by a small (like 6 X 8) spring that sat
another 100 feet back in the woods, and where the gully met the river
was a big, bad rope swing. I THINK it was near Dowling Park, but
research on boat ramps and springs in the area hasn't turned anything
up. Thanks in advance for any help!

Could it be Telford Spring? It is at the end of a long dirt road off of
Hwy 51 and there is a little boat ramp. It has been a popular spot for
campers. Unfortunately, there was a murder there a year or two ago and
the owner put up gates and doesn't allow anyone onto the property
anymore. You can still go to the boat ramp though.

Thanks Al - That doesn't look like it, but thanks for the link! Great
site. After looking around I think this particular spring would be
considered a sink, but again, I just don't know that much about it. If I
originally saw it low I probably wouldn't recognize it with a high water
level. I don't know if the rope swing still exists, so I'll concentrate
on boat ramps. Thanks again!
