I am going on a diving trip to Bonaire on the first week of December.
I just bought a new 3mm jumpsuit. WIll that be enough. I also got a
5mm jumpsuit. Should I take both? Or is the 3mm enough. I plan to dive
4 or 5 times a day. Boat diving AM..shore diving rest of the day.

Staying at Buddy Dive for the first time.

I went last year at the beginning of October and I was warm even at
night diving.

But December surely is different.

Any advise will be appreciated.

It's 12 deg 10' N. Do you really think the temsp will vary much? The
touristy people say that the temsps don't vary much more than about 2
deg C between mid summer and mid winter.

The water will be between 79-82 F, probably closer to the latter
figure. Guaranteed. It was real warm this summer, 84-85 at depth, so
it's extremely likely to stay above 80 into December. 3mm or even
less is just about fine for anyone who has skin since it's pretty warm
topside as well. Watch your ankles!

I live in Bonaire and rarely see anything less than at 3 mm. Some wear
a skin and few wear shorties. The water will start to cool down soon.
Post Omar we are getting back to normal.
