We have been looking for some high interest activities in our scout troop
to appeal to older as well as younger boys to both keep boys in the troop
and to lure new members into the group. If you have any especially good
ideas and would be willing to share, please send your suggestions to
tba...@piano.mecn.mass.edu
Thanks, Tom Barner, affiliated with troop 3 Westwood, MA 02090

Tom;

Have you thought of camping on the U.S.S. Massachussets (BB 59) ?

I know that there is a program where the museum lets scout troops camp on
board for a resonable fee, and it's really close to you in Fall River.

If you need the contact information E-Mail me as I have it, it is also
listed in the Scouter magazine almost every month.

Good luck,

Mike Guillemette - ASM Troop 271, Lansing, Il.
