John,
Sorry but I can't tell you who wrote it but try looking in the
Scout song book it might tell you. As far as where it was writen I am
proud to say it was writen at Camp Cedars in Fremont NE, Mid-America
Council. I think it was back in the forties or something like that
maybe a little bit earlier but some where around that time. Any way I
hope that this helps.
