My account been taken and the person has controlled it for over two years. Everytime I try to regain it or get a new facebook account he reports it as a fake account. I Can prove who I am Why cant you just help me.

When asked to re-enter your birth date, they only have a drop down for the year which goes back to 1956. Needless to say this is a problem for anyone born in 1955 or earlier. It seems to me that this is an effort by Facebook to hold onto a lot of accounts where people are deceased or simply are old and have forgotten their password. I suggest there are probably millions of old accounts out there that just help facebook gather more money from advertizers but which no longer represent anyone.

Your post is a bit confusing. I have the same problem. I want to be able to login with an email/password because logging in with FB is not possible using my work computer. Is it possible to login to the same Airbnb account using either FB, Google or email/password? If not how do I switch from using FB to email/password without signing up for a new account.

Perhaps she keeps visiting such a website that does it without knowing it. Perhaps you can try to set up a new facebook account for her that she logs intoand keeps open for a few days. Has she said up a URL attached to her profile such as: facebook.com/IAmAwesome if so the above could be occuring because she has someone who really "likes" her and just keeps abusing the way in which you can reset people's passwords on facebook by forcing in your email address to their system. Have her create a new profile completely and have her be very selective over whom she invites into her new group of friends.
I am trying to download the oculus rift app on my gaming laptop and it is asking me to put in my oculus password. I have forgotten it so I pressed the 'forgot password' button and it led me to a website wanting me to put my email in, and once I did it just said, 'You merged this Oculus account with a Facebook account. Please go back and log in with Facebook.' I logged in with Facebook, it didn't do anything. I cannot reset my Oculus password. Please help.
