Heaven is filled with many places,

She led me toward a table by the reflecting pool,
Ordered us a drink, and stared
Out across the night.

I knew instantly
We were to stay a while. I knew
By the look on her face
This evening
Was a leisurly one, that there was no other
Place we were urgently to go...
That we
Were installed for the evening,
As we would have taken a table
Years ago,
Would have staked our claim
Before the crowds filled the circular air, as mid-night
Approached. We were to wait
And drink casually, enjoy the night stair,
Cool and clear, by turns
Still and riffled
By breezes...

Etc...

Mama?! Psst...

"Editorial Statement ~
From 1994-1997,
APEX OF THE M

was a literary magazine edited by Lew Daly,
Alan Gilbert, Pam Rehm and Kristin Prevallet
that published six issues
of exciting work from both emerging and more
established writers. The magazine attempted
to provide a context for alternative poetry
by presenting it alongside essays, book reviews,
and archival material. The first three issues
featured controversial editorials which succeeded
in provoking dialogue within the poetry community.
In addition, APEX OF THE M gave writers ample pages
and space for the best representation of their work--
all of this in a carefully designed, perfect-bound
magazine with striking red
letterpress covers."

Fabulustrunner: We appreciate what you are doing. I can't believe how hateful
and contemptuous that girl is. When she posts all that crap she writes here,
it's the equivalent of urinating and defecating on public property. It's like
the class bully who is trying to ruin what everyone else found pleasure in.
There's something very hostile about it even though she may try to hide the
hostility. It seems even more hostile because we have asked her to stop ruining
our board and they've asked her to stop it on other groups too. The thing is
that it's not poetry. She formats her psychotic drivel in a narrow paragraph,
fails to use the shift key and -- Presto! -- she thinks it's poetry. She is
totally delusional. Even it were poetry, it doesn't belong here. It's
inappropriate. This is not the place for that kind of thing. When I look at
some of her posts, the first thing that comes to mind are the words from that

than one group. But they said I must also understand that OT posts, and
multiple posts, are lower on the list of things they investigate, like kiddie
porn, chat room perverts, etc etc, so that we should be patient, but that she
will be contacted providing what I told them was true. It's just not a
priority.
So idiot, you are a lieing scumbag.

No idiot, it's a polite way of saying "you are not being ignored, be patient",
otherwise they'd not have told me to call back in a few weeks if there was no
change. I was given the name of a real person, with a real number, not a 800
number.

>That's exactly where I come in, telling AOL that what you are telling

You think they give a flying F what YOU think? First, her conduct is not in
question, it is CLEARLY violating two AOL posting rules. There's no debate, or
"I think" to it. Your opinion is taken as seriously as your moronic ramblings
about carbs, and marathins, two thingsyou know nothing about. You seem to be
good at this.

>Good. I would not think that terminating poets' accounts should be a
>priority for AOL.

"Poet"??? She's a speed freak with internet access here, not a poet. If poetry
were her goal she'd do it in a poetry newsgroup, of which there are plenty.
Even a few posts would be tolerable, but one glance at the thread on cut n
paste shows the volume is outrageous. It'll take you a few minutes to scroll
through that one 24 hour period, so bring a snack.

>I am so upset...

No problem, if I were you I'd be upset too.

And I again wrote how they should drop her. Thanks!

Realize that I would have never paid any attention had you kept your big
fat, stupid mouth shut for once.

Exactly. And the last thing that psychotic freak needs is speed. When they
haul her away, they'll confiscate her speed and give her the antipsychotic
drugs she needs. She should be on Haldol. But the point, as you said, is that
if poetry were her goal, she'd do it in the appropriate forum.

LOL, but I suspect they left him long ago, probably at birth.

I have nothing against poetry, but that's garbage not poetry.

I think that we can report her to other places in addition to AOL's TOS. I
think there is a place to report abuse at Usenet. I'll find out about it and
let you know.

It might be faster than waiting for AOL.
