Call me a cynic but I think you'll find that Stephen (like Mike on the 29th)
is doing a computer course, part of which involves demonstrating that they
can subscribe and post to a usenet group.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a reply. ;-)

Yep. We used to get a rash of these periodically on UK news groups, all
students from the same college. They'd all introduce themselves and then
never be heard from again.

Those were 5081 cards and depending on how far back whether BCD or
EBCDIC. One had to find the right keypunch machine and card reader. Is
there a card reader on the new iPHONE?

Wouldn't cha know it, it's available in europe, but not in the US.

I am kind of nervous about what dizzy is thinking of specifically
