Having been "out" of coasters for a couple years I've got a few catch-me-up type questions...

I'm extremely curious about work being done to Ghostrider by GCI. I ranked Ghostrider #1 when it was new & good.
What exactly is GCI doing to this CCI woodie? Flyer trains?

Total retrack, minor reprofiling, new trains. No MCBR

I would assume GCI Flyer trains?

OK, I see GR has Millennium Flyers now. Wow. I thought MFs were specifically gauged for GCI coasters, which I thought had a different gauge than other woodies. Did GCI re-engineer their trains to now be acceptable for other coasters?

I also wonder if "minor reprofiling" means making GR more "GCI like" meaning banking turns more and removing the strong airtime this ride originallyy had (especially the station drop)?

Huh? Many of the early PTC GCI's were converted to MFs years ago.

Yes, but they were GCIs, such as Hersheypark Wildcat. Ghostrider is a CCI creation. My understanding is that GCI designed woodies were a different track gauge AND that GCI had some aversion to supplying their wonderful trains to non-GCI coasters.

If there is another coaster, NOT designed by GCI, retrofitted with MF trains, I know not of it, thus the question.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I blieve only three coasters were retrofitted with MF trains...Wildcat, Gwazi (RIP), and Roar. Now Ghostrider will make 4. Are there others? And what do you mean by "PTC GCIs?"

Coastersaurus has junior millennium flyers ("mini-lennium flyers" I believe). That was originally built by M&V, and used junior PTCs for its life until about 2 years ago or so.
