I am planning to visit this park this up coming weekend. The price of tickets
on their web site is $33.35. I am looking for anyone who might be able to tell
me if I can get discount coupons and where I might find them. Or can you tell
me if this park is worth the price?
Thanks for your help.

While I'm not certain about discounts, I can tell you that
*yes*, it's VERY much worth it IMHO. Try to spend the entire
day there, and if possible, a trip through Marvel Cave (included
in admission)is a don't miss. While not very heavy in the
thrill department (although I understand that is soon to
change :)), their "Thunderation" mine train is the best one out
there and last year's "Buzz Saw Falls" is a hoot, especially on
a hot day. Also, the parks food is incredible and the employees
are in competition with Holiday World for most friendly/helpful.

While in town, be sure to check out "Branson USA" which is a
small, friendly park near the intersection Hwy 79 and Shepard of
the Hills Pkwy. This park is open late (2 am last year!) and
worth stopping at after a day at SDC.

ENJOY!

P.S. Check SDC's website a bit further. They may offer a
discounted rate if bought via the web.

You can usually find discount coupons all up and down the 76
strip. Every place you go seems to have a rack of brochures and
coupons.

I think the park is worth the price. We always have a lot of fun
and the food is great!

A couple of pointers: They have been running
"in after 3, next day for
free" for as long as I can remember. Stop by the day before
after 3pm and then get the next day free. (Verify
this is still happening) They have a wonderful
cave tour included in admission also.
