Does Robb Alvey work?

I've never seen a grown man (a large grown man) attend theme parks as much as Robb does, how does this guy have time to work if he's always at the parks?

Ellisa has always been the star of their videos going all the way back the beginning. She radiates on camera and very compelling to watch.

Regarding Robb, I don't know if he has a real job given his criminal record, but he does make money from youtube, his website, and is his trips.

He's a game software developer the last I heard. But game studios are going bye bye as more people play simple crap on their phone (Flappy Bird). The big games on the computer are DOTA and Counter Strike Go (which I play).

That's good if they're back together. The same thing happened to me. Laurie left when the kid turned 4. I call it the Ho Playbook.

Dating, marry, have kids, new home, new SUV for her, baby room, stops working and stays home with the kid, then the woman gets bored when the kid turns 4, cheats and divorces. I call it flawed programming in the Matrix. There's no way the guy can stop it. The women talk to co-workers who tell them to leave the man, even if things really aren't that bad. So they cheat, divorce, cause a mess, and come back 4 years later once they find out there's really nothing better out there, and the other guys can't love their kids like the dad. In my case, Laurie also found god, and cheated with someone from church. That's why my name is NoGodForMe.

Just remember, when the kid turns 4, is when the cheating happens. The couples split up, then possibly come back 4 years later after they play the field and find out there's really nothing better out there.

For Robb to have a job that involves his long time hobby only pisses off the trolls on RRC who have pathetic useless lives. I sure many of us have dreamed of having such a career, but many of us have found other careers because life sometimes does not work out the way we expected it to.

Robb obviously has many talents that allow him in successful career in the amusement industry. To the troll who keeps bringing up this issue: Jealous much? Get a freaking life loser!

His job is TPR. They make money off ads for the website and Youtube. That is why he is always spamming here. He needs clicks for cash. Can't believe its much, but enough to get by. With their Youtube channel getting many tens of millions of views a year, my guess is they were making $50,000 plus. Although, they spam for the views, so I could see their ad click rate being sorta low. Unless their fanboys purposefully click ads, and it's the other way. Elissa's family is fairly wealthy too, so I would assume a big inheritance is looming. Her dad is hilarious.

But, Youtube is definitely dropping. Ad rates are plummeting since everyone can monetize now. I was invited to monetize, and couldn't believe how much I made. Not huge, but I expected nothing. Since monetization was opened to everyone, even if you get views, the dollars don't seem to follow.. A lot of people who live off it are struggling.

For a big video, he can probably pay for a trip with views. I'm sure his Gravity Max video paid for that trip. I don't see the India coasters doing the same for this last crazy trip to the other side of the planet for one park.

We'll never know for sure unless Robb decides to weigh in here, but I'd speculate that the group trips are where the real money is made.

This is hard earned money, by the way. Planning for a small group takes a lot of time; I can only imagine the complexities of bringing a large group around theme parks in a foreign country, especially those who are not frequent travellers.

For what it's worth, I agree with the other posters. Can we please stop starting Robb Alvey threads here? There's a perfectly good Facebook group where those who wish to can bitch :-)

I would not call that particular Facebook group "perfectly good" especially since it has ONLY 189 likes and was forced to start over with a new name after Facebook shut it down when several of its members started attacking Robb's daughter. The group is an unmitigated disaster! It's new name makes you wonder what the HELL are they protesting?

Yes, they do apparently have bitch sessions for losers that have nothing better to do...but you can't help but wonder whether these people (on that group) have any life at all given that they have devoted themselves to "tearing down" (if poking fun at someone can be called tearing down) someone who has made a successful career for themselves.

It was only in the last couple years we discovered healthy eating. Laurie cheated 18 years ago. It's only been recently that the research studies by Joel Fuhrman and the health movies came out. Now there's Whole Foods, and everyone is eating better. Movies you can watch (find trailers on YouTube).

These movies were not around 15 years ago. I was eating what I though was healthy. We'd make steak with rice and a side. It was the wrong diet. I had to starve myself to lose weight so I could fit on Millennium Force, but I did it. Now I'm 40 pounds less, all because of the diet.

All those people working out at the gym to lose weight, are wasting their time. If they go to Whole Foods, and eat the salad, the weight will fall off.

Getting back to the videos, I noticed on the latest celebration at Epcot, there didn't seem to be a ton of people there, maybe 20. And his channel is dropping because Coaster Force has just about every video out there. If we're going to ask anyone how they do it, that's the guy to ask.

It was a delayed reaction when Robb said go ahead, watch the Coaster Force videos. But I believe it's happening, I'm subscribed to that channel.

Funny story, and you're actually wrong about how the group started. I started the group as an inside joke for some friends years ago and never did anything with it. Then the person who was running the TPR Sux page got spooked because they must not have understood that Robb doesn't have any real power when it comes to Copyrights (or, specifically, what to do when you're accused of copyright infringement and you've not really done anything).

When that page was shut down, people flocked to the page I forgot about. Then Robb tried to do the same thing to me several times, and, oh, look at that, We're still there even though he claimed we also infringed copyrights (His entertainment lawyers probably told him that).

Actually, there are people there that have a higher credit count that Robb, IIRC. Most of us have very good lives and travel a bit. And most of us don't even really spend much time on there. Definitely not nearly as much time as Robb spends trolling the internet, as well searching to see if someone is talking about him (or starting threads about himself on RRC).

The reason why Robb's name keeps coming up, is because people were banned from his site, and YouTube channel for stupid shit. I get that some people deserve it, but there's many people that were banned for making a comment on a topic that Robb disagreed with. So the admin gets uptight and pushes the ban button to win. There's threats like, "say one more word and you're gone." The problem is, the ban is forever. Not only that, he blocks the IP from the web site, but we've since learned we can get to it from iPhone after turning off wireless. And you're banned from the YouTube channel comments.

Well guess what, you can't push the ban button in this world. People can spout their opinion until they're tired of talking. In this world, Robb deflects the comments by posting 1 liner jokes, or a snarky come back. Then he posts some stats claiming there's tons of happy users on his board, and we're the problem.

The people who have been banned have pent up frustration. That's why they come in here and kick the ant hill. They post stuff about his personal life as a way to say, "You Suck Too."

The best thing to do is just ignore. Don't try to visit the web site, don't watch the YouTube videos. Eventually some other forum or group will come along that becomes bigger.

There's Ace, CFB, TPR, and there will be more. All of these groups were once huge, still have a following to some extent, but the pattern is repeating with users being banned or leaving.

What difference does his criminal record and other things have to do with anything? It is not like some other folks here are spotless angels. Other folks in this thread have things like multiple charges of harassment, DUIs, stalking and more. Alvey is an idiot, no question, but I feel some of this anger on him is put towards him as a scapegoat for the attackers own miserable lives. As soon as someone else has success, someone is bound to get jealous. The criminal record one is the worst and fully hypocritical because those folks likely have charges in their past as well. I am not defending Alvey, but some of these same folks are on the same level or worse than him. The hypocrisy is ridiculous.

The details still aren't clear, but apparently he was fired from Disney for Cause, likely theft of some sort. Perhaps no big deal, perhaps a much bigger deal that they didn't really blow up since he was fired without a fight.

The more telling history of Robb is that he has 4 kids that he has almost no contact with. Including his son that once posted on Robb's FB page, asking when he was going to be in LA, for a SFMM shoot. It was obvious his poor kid wanted to see dad, but the feeling wasn't mutual.

I definitely haven't harped on him daily for years. It was only a year or so ago that he banned me, and showed his true colors. Years ago I attacked him, then was happy he was lowering ACEs powere. Then he became a complete power hungry dictator of TPR. And Elissa still stands by his side, which must be Stockholm syndrome or something.

It is only the last few months the anti Robb posts have resurfaced. Likely because more people are seeing his real side.

It really doesn't take too much time to check RRC while having my morning coffee a couple times a week.

I could be wrong, a child may choose to message their dad on FB in a public post about their wherabouts, even though you DO have a very close personal relationship with him, instead of just calling you and asking what's up.

You CHOSE to move thousands of miles away from your kids who were in high school at the time. You let two other kids move to another continent. You travel the world constantly, yet when you WERE in town, your kid had to ask you in a public forum what you were doing.

Regardless of what you say, I doubt many on RRC would share that plan of action.

No, he tricked his wife (with their 2 kids)into going home to the UK for a friends wedding, then once they were there (One of the kids was his 8 week old infant) He called them and told them to fuck off, it was over..
