Yes, in '92 there will be no new coaster.
In '93 there *will* be a new coaster, and it might be Pipeline. The Point has
had the Pipeline plans for three years now, and they're just worried that it
might not live up to their squeeky clean safety standards. If it's not
Pipeline, it *may* be a standup coaster.
They are getting rid of camper village, and putting the new coaster there.
Any other hot rumors out there?

I heard about the new coaster for '93 but it was supposed to go in on part of
what is now the parking lot as part of the Point's expansion plans to recycle
the parking lot and create offsite parking and bring people to the park via
a monorail system (NOTE: this is only a rumor, Cedar Point never made any
official statements and I'm in no way connected with the park). I heard a
rumor that Mean Streak was supposed to take the place of Camper Village but
it didn't so I really doubt that the new coaster will replace Camper Village.
I don't see the park giving up a good source of income for a ride that is
included in the ticket price.
