If you look closely at this picture,

you can see the very start of the bunny hop at the bottom right hand corner
of the picture.
The bunny hop will be start just as the turn out of the tunnel is
completed. Also, as soon as the bunny hop is over, the train will make a
pretty severe banked turn before hitting the last over banked turn.

Well, I for one thought that this was all cleared up, but I can easily
understand why there could still be confusion. If you don't look close
enough at the artwork, it's really easy to miss the it. There is going to
be one bunny hop before the last high banked turnaround. It may not be the
biggest bunny hop, but it should "eject" the riders off their seats in a
pleasing manner :-) Take a look at one of Dan's pics:

able to clearly see the bunny hop I'm talking about. It's going to be a
very long gradual camelback, but I'm guessing that the train will still be
going pretty fast. There should be some nice airtime here for sure!

Don't forget that the camelback before the tunnel could provide some nice

There is a fairly decent rise that passes the load station very closely.
Keep in mind that the train will be flying at this point in the ride...
it just came off of a 60-foot hill and needs enough speed to complete
that last over-banked turn, which is also 60 feet tall.
When you consider the height of the hills that cross the lagoon compared
to the rest of the ride, I can assure you that those hills will pop you
fiercely. Some might argue otherwise, but I think air time is Millennium
Force's secret weapon that no on will be expecting.
The ride's strongest point, not its weakest, is the simplicity of the
layout. There's a certain elegance in raw speed and long turns that will
surprise people. That's my take, anyway.

This discussion is silly and pointless...but Jeff exclaims the most "sense' of
the RRC lot here.
While most are bitching there isn;t a SROS-style bunny hop -- realize that at
the speed the train will be heading into the final stretch on MF -- such a
profile would produce EXTREME negative forces -- far too much for any rider (I
think back to the glory days of La Montana Rusa when it had that HORRIBLE speed
hill on the cross-over section -- few people miss the sheer pain endured in
that section!!).
Once again, the train on MF will come screaming off the 3rd large hill as it
heads towards the 118-degree overbanked turn.
The train will hit the magnets (brakes) going about 55mph!
So - to answer the basic question - "will there be airtime on the 'ramp'?" The
short answer is YES. And if some people need a point of reference -- look
towards the "ramp" that is at the end of SFOT's Schwarzkopf "Shockwave" coaster
(the one before the final turn). Riders get a nice "pop" off this low-profile
hill -- and the train speed is no-where NEAR that which MF will be traveling!!

Im pretty sadistic, so I would crave that if it was still like that. Sorry
I missed it. But Im a minority when it comes to voilent wood coaster rides
rides. Other factors rule out.

To be honest, MF looks like it has alot of height and speed (which is
fine), but not as much airtime. Atleast not MAGNUM or even DESPERADO
airtime. We'll just have to wait and see how MF turns out.

Don Meiers told me last summer that MF would not be an airtime machine, but
built primarily for speed. However, what I've experienced with S:ROS is
something else again! <g>
