The Blue Streak at Cedar Point is named for the mascot of Sandusky High School.

Hmm..Is it really a mascot? All I know is that the Sandusky HS sports
teams are called the "Blue Streaks.' Or is it just "Blue Streak."

Anyway, if you approach CP from the south on OH-4, you get to drive right
past the stadium with BLUE STREAK painted on the back of it!

Sandusky's sports teams are called the Blue Streaks. Actually, their mascot
is a white bear.

Ah yes, Strobel Field...(Walt, reflecting on his youth)

It is "Blue Streaks" and is represented as a blue zigzag lightning bolt. With
the recent opening of the Ohio Turnpike exit at SR 4, more Cedar Point tourists
will probably drive to the park via this route.
